Bio:Yang Xiao (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computational mathematics from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 1989 and 1991, respectively, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, OH, USA, in 2000 and 2001, respectively. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science, The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA. Dr. Xiao directed 20+ doctoral dissertations and supervised 20+ M.S. theses/projects. His research interests include cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, security, wireless networks, smart grids, and telemedicine. He has published more than 600 papers (300+ SCI-indexed journal papers (including 70+ IEEE/ACM Transactions) and 300+ conference papers or book chapters) with more than 29653 citations and h-index=86 by Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=HSxTENAAAAAJ). He is ranked #188 and #481 in the USA ( #362 and #808 in the world) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) and Computer Science (CS), respectively, among Best Scientists for 2024 based on Research.com (http://www.guide2research.com/u/yang-xiao). The scientists of Stanford University identified him as one of the world's Top 2% of Scientists.
Bio:Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published >300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >13,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >70 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, and an Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals. He also served as Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues, Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >70 prestigious journals.

Assoc Professor Lee’s multi-disciplinary research spans IT, Digital Health, Signal/Image Processing, FinTech, Learning Analytics, Explainable AI, Deep ML, Computer Vision, Multi-agent Autonomous Systems for sustainable environment development.
His 200+ papers published in SCImago Q1 journals: IEEE TSP, IEEE TKDE, IPM, Neurocomputing, Expert Systems with Applications, Automation-in-Construction, CACIE, Computer Methods & Program in biomedicine, etc; and in CORE A/A* Int-Conf proceedings: AAAI, IJCAI, ICDM, ICWS, ICDE, PAKDD, CIKM, ACM KDD, ACMMM, IEEE IC Signal Processing, etc.
